2144 – ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Muḥammad informed us; al-Ḥusayn ibn Yaḥyā informed us; Aḥmad ibn al-Miqdām narrated to us; Fuḍayl ibn ʿIyāḍ—from Manṣūr—from Mujāhid—regarding the verse, “the Day when they will be tested over the Fire” (Qur’an 51:13), said: “They will be burned over it and tormented.”
٢١٤٤ - أنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: نا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ، قَالَ: نا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ: ﴿يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى النَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ﴾ [الذاريات: ١٣] قَالَ: «يُحْرَقُونَ عَلَيْهَا وَيُعَذَّبُونَ»
