2143 – ʿUbayd Allāh ibn Muḥammad reported to us; ʿUthmān ibn Aḥmad reported to us; Ḥanbal narrated to us; Muʿallā ibn Asad narrated to us; ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn al-Mukhtār narrated to us; and Abū ʿAbd Allāh ad-Dānaj narrated, saying:

“I was in the company of Anas ibn Mālik when a man said to him, ‘There are people who deny the intercession.’ Anas replied, ‘Do not sit with them.’

Then another person asked, ‘There are people who deny the punishment of the grave.’ ⦗1211⦘ He answered, ‘Do not sit with them.’”
