Ahmad ibn ʿUbayd informed us. ʿAli ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn Mubashshir said: Ahmad ibn Sinan narrated to us; he said: Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us; ʿAli ibn Masʿadah narrated to us; Abdullah ibn al-Rumi narrated to us, saying: “I was in the company of Anas ibn Malik when a man entered and said, ‘O Abu Hamzah, I have met some people who deny intercession and the punishment of the grave.’ Anas replied, ‘Those are the liars; do not sit with them.’”
