2106 – ʿĪsā ibn ʿAlī narrated to us; ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad al-Baghawī narrated to us; he said: ʿAlī ibn al-Jaʿd narrated to us; he said: Shuʿbah narrated to us; he said: ʿAmr ibn Murrah informed me; he said: I heard Abū Ḥamzah al-Anṣārī relate, saying: I heard Zayd ibn Arqam say, “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to us …” h.

2107 – And Aḥmad ibn ʿUbayd narrated to us; ʿAlī ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Mubashshir narrated to us; he said: Aḥmad ibn Sinān narrated to us; he said: Wahb narrated to us; he said: Shuʿbah, from ʿAmr ibn Murrah, from Abū Ḥamzah, from Zayd ibn Arqam, who said:

“The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said—while we were with him on one of his journeys, at a campsite where he had halted—

‘You are not even one part in a hundred thousand parts of those from my community who will come to me at the Pond.’” ⦗1192⦘

Abū Ḥamzah added, “I asked Zayd, ‘How many were you?’ He replied, ‘Eight hundred or nine hundred.’” This narration was also recorded by al-Bukhārī.
