2082 – Muhammad ibn ʿUmar ibn Muhammad ibn Ḥumayd reported to us. He said: Muhammad ibn ʿUbayd-Allah ibn al-ʿAlāʾ al-Kātib narrated to us; he said: Aḥmad ibn al-Haytham narrated to us; he said: ʿAmr ibn Makhzūm narrated to us; he said: Ibn ʿUyaynah reported, from Yūnus ibn ʿUbayd, from al-Ḥasan, from his mother, from Umm Salama. She said: The Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—said to me, “Do good deeds and do not rely (solely on them), for my intercession is for those of my community who are headed for destruction.”
