2081 – ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Muḥammad ibn Khayrān and ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muslim ibn Yaḥyā both reported to us. They said: al-Ḥusayn ibn Ismāʿīl related to us; he said: Muḥammad ibn Khalaf al-Muqriʾ narrated to us; he said: Manṣūr ibn Abī Nuwayrah al-Asadī transmitted, from ʿAbd al-Muʾmin, from Dāwūd ibn Abī ʿAwf Abū al-Jaḥḥāf, from Yazīd ibn Abī Ziyād, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Ḥārith, from ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib ibn Rabīʿah, who said:

“I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, ‘Does the tribe of Sulaym hope for my intercession on the Day of Resurrection while the sons of ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib do not?’”
