2077 – Muhammad ibn al-Husayn al-Fārisi reported to us; he said: Muhammad ibn Jaʿfar ibn Mallās narrated to us; he said: Mūsā ibn ʿĀmir narrated to us; he said: al-Walīd ibn Muslim narrated to us; he said: Ibn Jābir related that he heard Sulaym ibn ʿĀmir recount, from ʿAwf ibn Mālik, that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say—and he was speaking about the intercession Allah will grant him on the Day of Resurrection. I said to him, “I implore you by Allah, O Messenger of Allah, and call upon the Companions to bear witness: ask Allah to make me among those who receive it.” He replied, “O ʿAwf, my intercession on the Day of Resurrection is for everyone.”
