2047 – Ahmad ibn ʿUbayd narrated to us; ʿAli ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn Mubashshir narrated to us, saying: Ahmad ibn Sinan narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Abi Nuʿaym narrated to us, saying: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, saying: I said to ʿAmr ibn Dinar, “Abu Muhammad, did you hear Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allah relate from the Prophet ﷺ that ‘Allah will bring a group of people out of the Fire by means of intercession’?” He answered, “Yes; both al-Bukhari and Muslim have recorded it.”
