2046 – ʿUbayd Allah ibn Ahmad ibn ʿAli narrated to us: Yaʿqūb ibn Ibrāhīm al-Bazzār informed us, saying: al-ʿAbbās ibn Yazīd al-Baḥrānī related to us, saying: Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah reported to us, saying: “I said to ʿAmr ibn Dīnār, ‘Abū Muḥammad, did you hear Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allah relate from the Prophet ﷺ that “Allah will admit a group of people into the Fire and then bring them out of it”?’ He replied, ‘Yes; both of them recorded it.’”
