2033 — Muhammad ibn ʿUbayd Allah ibn al-Hajjaj narrated to us; he said: Jaʿfar ibn Muhammad ibn Nusayr related; he said: Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Masrūq narrated; he said: Muhammad ibn al-Husayn narrated; he said: Abu Ishaq al-Rāsibī said: Ḍaygham said, “A number of those who discourse on the doctrine of Divine threat (waʿīd) came to me and entered into conversation with me. I said to them, ‘Arrange a meeting between me and your leader.’ That night I saw the Prophet ﷺ in a dream, so I said, ‘May my father and mother be ransomed for you—am I upon your Sunnah?’ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, ‘I am pleased with you; may Allah be pleased with you. I am pleased with you; may Allah be pleased with you.’ And Allah was pleased with you.”
