2019 — ʿAlī ibn Aḥmad ibn ʿUmar al-Muqriʾ reported to us; he said: Ibrāhīm ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAlī al-Ghassānī reported; he said: ʿAlī ibn al-ʿAbbās reported; he said: Aḥmad ibn ʿUthmān and Yaʿlā ibn ʿUbayd both narrated; he said: Sufyān narrated from Thābit ibn Abī al-Hudhayl, who said: “I asked Abū Jaʿfar Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī ibn al-Ḥusayn about the Companions of the Camel, and he answered, ‘They were believers, not unbelievers.’”
