2017 — ʿUbayd Allah ibn Ahmad reported to us; he said: Ahmad ibn al-Hasan reported to us; he said: Abu Bakr al-Muttawiʿi narrated to us; he said: Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us; he said: Jaʿfar narrated, from ⦗1149⦘ Ashʿath, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: “Offer the funeral prayer for anyone who declares, ‘There is no god but Allah.’”
