2012 — ʿUbayd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad and Muhammad ibn Rizq Allah related to us; they said: ʿUthmān ibn Ahmad narrated to us; he said: Jaʿfar ibn Muhammad ibn Shākir narrated to us; he said: ʿAffān narrated to us; he said: Saʿīd ibn Zayd narrated to us; he said: ʿAmr ibn Mālik narrated to us; he said: Abū al-Jawzāʾ said, “Throughout all the knowledge I have sought—travelling to the scholars for it and questioning the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ about it—I have never heard Allah say of any sin, ‘I shall not forgive it.’”
