1996 — ʿUbayd Allah ibn Ahmad informed us; he said: al-Ḥusayn ibn Ismāʿīl informed us; he said: ʿAbbās ibn Yazīd al-Baḥrānī narrated to us; he said: Abū Dāwūd and ʿAbd al-Ṣamad narrated to us; they said: Shuʿbah narrated to us, from al-Walīd ibn al-ʿAyzār, from a man of Thaqīf, from a man of Kinānah, from Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī, from the Prophet ﷺ, who recited: “Then We caused the Book to be inherited by those of Our servants whom We chose: some of them wrong themselves, some take a middle course, and some are foremost in good deeds” [Fāṭir: 32]. He remarked, “All of them will be in Paradise,” and one of the narrators added—or said—“in the same rank.”
