ʿUbayd Allah ibn Ahmad related to us; al-Ḥusayn ibn Ismāʿīl narrated to us; he said: ʿAbbās al-Tarfuqī narrated to us; he said: Ḥafṣ ibn ʿUmar narrated to us; he said: al-Ḥakam ibn Abān, from ʿIkrimah, from Ibn ʿAbbās, reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

Allah, Blessed and Exalted, says: “Whoever among you realizes that I possess the power to forgive sins, I have forgiven him and I do not mind—so long as he does not associate anything with Me.”
