185—Muhammad ibn ʿAli ibn al-Nadr informed us. He said: ʿAli ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn Mubashshir informed us. He said: ʿAbd al-Hamid ibn Bayan narrated to us. He said: Khalid ibn ʿAbd Allah narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Indeed, Allah is pleased with three things for you and dislikes three things for you. He is pleased that you worship Him and do not associate anything with Him; that you hold fast, all together, to the rope of Allah and do not become divided; and that you sincerely advise those whom Allah has entrusted with your affairs. And He dislikes three things for you: idle talk, squandering wealth, and excessive questioning.”
