The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Allah, majestic and exalted, says: ‘Whoever performs a good deed will have ten times its like, and whoever commits an evil deed—his recompense is only its like—and I forgive. If someone comes to Me with sins filling the earth and then meets Me having associated nothing with Me, I will grant him forgiveness equal to it. Whoever draws near to Me by a handspan, I draw near to him by an arm’s length; whoever draws near to Me by an arm’s length, I draw near to him by a fathom; and whoever comes to Me walking ⦗1133⦘ I come to him running.’”
The wording of both chains is nearly identical, and Muslim also recorded it.
