1959 – ʿUbayd Allāh ibn Aḥmad narrated to us; he said: al-Ḥusayn ibn Ismāʿīl narrated to us; he said: Yaʿqūb al-Dawraqī narrated to us; he said: Ibn ʿUlayyah narrated to us, from al-Jurayrī, from Thumāmah ibn Ḥazn, who said: “I was with my father when a man asked ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr, ‘Is there repentance for every sin—does Allah accept repentance?’ He replied, ‘Yes.’”
