1952 – ʿUbayd Allah ibn Ahmad narrated to us; he said: Yazdad ibn ʿAbd al-Rahman narrated to us; he said: Abū Saʿīd al-Ashajj narrated to us; he said: Ishaq ibn Sulayman narrated to us; he said: I heard ʿUthman ibn Zaʾidah say: Luqman said to his son, “Do not postpone tawba (repentance), for death arrives without warning.”
