1951 – ʿUbayd Allah ibn Muḥammad narrated to us; Jaʿfar narrated to us; he said: ʿAlī al-Fārisī narrated to us; he said: Abū Ghassān narrated to us, from Ibn ʿUyaynah, from ʿUmar ibn Saʿīd, the brother of Sufyān al-Thawrī, from his father, from ʿAbāyah ibn Rifāʿah, who said: “Sincere repentance wipes out every sin.”
