1914 – ʿĪsā ibn ʿAlī informed us; he said: ʿAbdallāh ibn Muḥammad al-Baghawī informed us; he said ⦗1109⦘: ʿAlī ibn al-Jaʿd narrated to us; he said: al-Rabīʿ ibn Subayḥ narrated to us, from al-Ḥasan, who said: “Fleeing from the battlefield is not counted among the major sins; that ruling applied only on the Day of Badr.”
