1821 — Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Abd Allah al-Abyari informed us; Uthman ibn Muhammad ibn Harun informed us; he said: Abu Umayyah narrated to us; he said: Qabisah narrated to us; he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Ma‘mar, from Ibn Tawus, from his father, who said: “I am astonished at our brothers among the people of Iraq, who say: ‘Al-Hajjaj was a believer.’”
