1800—Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad al-Ṭūsī narrated to us. He said: Muḥammad ibn Yaʿqūb narrated to us. He said: Abū ʿUtbah narrated to us. He said: Baqiyyah narrated to us. He said: Ismāʿīl—that is, Ibn ʿAyyāsh—narrated to us, from ʿAbd al-Wahhāb ibn Mujāhid, from his father, from Ḥudhayfah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said:
“Two groups from my Ummah will both be in the Fire: people who say, ‘Faith is merely speech, even if one commits adultery or steals.’”
And he said:
“And others who say, ‘Our predecessors were misguided when they said that there are five prayers in the day and night; rather, there are only two prayers.’”
