1781 — Muhammad informed us: Uthman informed us. Hanbal narrated to us. He said: Abu Abd Allah narrated to us. He said: Waki‘ narrated to us. He said: Al-A‘mash narrated to us, from Abu Wa’il, who said: A man came to Abd Allah and said, “O Abu Abd al-Rahman, I met a group of riders. We asked, ‘Who are you?’ They replied, ‘We are the believers.’” Abd Allah said, “Why did they not say, ‘We are the people of Paradise’?”
