1779 — Ja‘far ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Ya‘qub informed us: Muhammad ibn Harun al-Ruyani informed us. He said: Abu al-Rabi‘ narrated to us. He said: Abu ‘Awanah narrated to us, from al-Mughirah, from Abu Wa’il, who said: I heard Ibn Mas‘ud say: “Whoever testifies concerning himself that he is a believer, let him also testify that he is in Paradise.”
