1746 — Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Umar narrated to us. Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Hatim narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to us. He said: Yahya ibn al-Mughirah narrated to us. He said:

“I read the letter of Hammad ibn Zayd to Jarir ibn Abd al-Hamid: ‘It has reached me that you hold that faith increases, whereas the people of Kufa maintain otherwise. Remain firm upon your view—may Allah keep you firm.’”
