1717 — Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Basir narrated to us: Uthman ibn Ahmad narrated to us; Hanbal narrated to us; Abu Abd Allah narrated to me; Waki‘ narrated to us; al-Awza‘i narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Abi Amr, from Hudhayfah, who said:

“I know of the adherents of two religions who are in the Fire: those who say, ‘Faith is merely speech, even if one commits adultery and murder’; and people who say, ‘Those before us were misguided, claiming that the prayers are five, whereas they are only two prayers: the night prayer and the dawn prayer.’”
