1699—‘Ali ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Ali ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Umar dictated to us: Abu Muhammad ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Hatim narrated to us; he said: Yunus ibn ‘Abd al-A‘la narrated to us; he said: Wahb narrated to me; he said: Talhah ibn Abi Sa‘id informed me that Sa‘id ibn Abi Sa‘id al-Maqburi narrated to him from Abu Hurayrah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say:

“Whoever keeps a horse in the path of Allah, out of faith in Allah and affirmation of Allah’s promise, its feed, dung, and urine will be counted as good deeds on his scale on the Day of Resurrection.”

Al-Bukhari transmitted it through the narration of Ibn al-Mubarak from Talhah.
