1696 — Isa ibn Ali informed us; Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Baghawi said: Dawud ibn Amr narrated to us; Salam narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu al-Ahwas, from Abdullah: “Part of faith is that you love your brother without prior acquaintance, kinship, or wealth ⦗1009⦘ that he has given you; you love him only for the sake of Allah”
١٦٩٦ - أنا عِيسَى بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ، قَالَ: نا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: نا سَلَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: " إِنَّ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ أَنْ تُحِبَّ أَخَاكَ عَنْ غَيْرِ مَعْرِفَةٍ، وَلَا قَرَابَةٍ وَلَا مَالٍ ⦗١٠٠٩⦘ أَعْطَاكَ، لَا تُحِبُّهُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ
