He said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Rashid al-Harithi, the client of Abd al-Rahman ibn Aban ibn Uthman, told us. He said: Abu Mawdud told us, from Abu Hazim, who said: I heard Anas ibn Malik say: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say: “A servant does not attain complete faith until his character becomes good and he does not give vent to his rage.”
