1684 — ʿIsa ibn ʿAli informed us: ʿAbd Allah ibn Muhammad al-Baghawi informed us. He said: Hudbah ibn Khalid narrated to us. He said: ʿUbayd ibn Muslim al-Sabiri narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “The believer is like an ear of grain: at times it bends, and at times it stands upright.”
