1676 — Isa ibn Ali informed us; Abd Allah ibn Muhammad al-Baghawi informed us. He said: Ali ibn al-Ja'd narrated to us. He said: Shu'bah informed us, from Mujalid, who said: I heard al-Sha'bi narrating from al-Nu'man ibn Bashir that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:

“The likeness of the believers in their mutual affection and mercy is that of a single body: when one part of it suffers, the rest of the body responds with sleeplessness and fever.”
