1674 — Isa ibn Ali narrated to us; Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Baghawi said: Ali ibn al-Ja'd narrated to us; Abu Ghassan narrated to us, from Hassan ibn Atiyyah, from Abu Umamah, from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who said: “Modesty and restraint in speech are two branches of faith, while obscenity and excessive eloquence are two branches of hypocrisy.”
