144—Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman informed us: Ahmad ibn Ishaq ibn Bahlul informed us; my father narrated to us; Muhammad ibn al-Mu‘alla narrated to us; Sulayman al-Amiri narrated to us, from al-Shaybani, from Ziyad ibn Ilaqah, from Usamah ibn Sharik, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say:
“Allah’s hand is over the united body. When one of them breaks away from it, the devils snatch him away, just as ⦗111⦘ the wolf of the flock snatches a sheep.”
١٤٤ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ , قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ بُهْلُولٍ , قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَلَّى , قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الْعَامِرِيُّ , عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ , عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ , عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ , قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «يَدُ اللَّهِ عَلَى الْجَمَاعَةِ , فَإِذَا شَذَّ الشَّاذُّ مِنْهُمُ اخْتَطَفَتْهُ الشَّيَاطِينُ , كَمَا ⦗١١١⦘ يَخْتَطِفُ الشَّاةَ ذِئْبُ الْغَنَمِ»
