1662 — ʿUbayd Allah ibn Muslim and ʿAmr ibn Zakkar narrated to us; they said: al-Husayn ibn Ismaʿil narrated to us. He said: Abu Hatim Muhammad ibn Idris narrated to us. He said: I read to ʿAli ibn ʿAtham: Suʿayr ibn al-Khams narrated to you, from al-Mughirah, from Ibrahim, from ʿAlqamah, from ʿAbd Allah, who said: Intrusive thoughts were mentioned as a complaint to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said, “That is manifest faith.” Muslim transmitted it from Yusuf al-Saffar.
