1657—Yahya ibn Isma'il ibn Zakariyya informed us; he said: Abu Hamid Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Bilal narrated to us; he said: Ahmad ibn Mansur narrated to us; he said: al-Nadr ibn Shumayl narrated to us; he said: Awf informed us, from Ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: [chain transition].

1658—Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Jafar al-Bazzar also informed us; he said: Yaqub ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us; he said: Abd al-Malik ibn Muhammad al-Balkhi narrated to us; he said: Ishaq ibn Yusuf informed us; he said: Awf narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who said: “Whoever follows the funeral procession of a Muslim out of faith and seeking reward, prays over him, and then waits until he is placed in his grave, will receive two qirats of reward, one of which is like Mount Uhud. Whoever prays over him and then returns will receive one qirat.” Al-Bukhari recorded it from Ahmad al-Manjufi, from Rawh.
