141—Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman informed us: Yahya ibn Muhammad ibn Sa‘id narrated to us; Muhammad ibn Sulayman narrated to us; Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Ghaylan ibn Jarir, from Ziyad ibn Riyah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whoever withdraws from obedience and separates from the community dies a death of the pre-Islamic era of ignorance.”
