1649 — Isa ibn Ali informed us; Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Baghawi informed us; Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Abu Khaythamah, and more than one other informed us, saying: Ibn Uyaynah informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from Ibn Umar, that he heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.

1650 — Ubaydullah ibn Ahmad informed us; Ali ibn Muhammad ibn al-Jahm informed us. He said: al-Hasan ibn Arafah informed us. He said: Sufyan ibn Uyaynah informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from his father: the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, heard a man admonishing his brother concerning modesty, and said: “Modesty is part of faith.”
١٦٤٩ - أنا عِيسَى بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ، قَالَ: أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، وَأَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ قَالُوا: أنا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، ح.
١٦٥٠ - وأنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، أنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْجَهْمِ، قَالَ: نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ، قَالَ: نا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ رَجُلًا يَعِظُ أَخَاهُ فِي الْحَيَاءِ فَقَالَ: «الْحَيَاءُ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ»
