1643—Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman informed us; Yahya ibn Muhammad ibn Sa'id informed us; al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan informed us; Abd al-Wahhab al-Thaqafi informed us; Ayyub informed us, from Abu Qilabah, from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:
“Whoever possesses three qualities finds through them the sweetness of faith: that Allah and His Messenger are dearer to him than all else; that he loves a person only for Allah’s sake; and that he hates to return to disbelief as he would hate for a fire to be kindled for him and for him to be cast into it.”
١٦٤٣ - أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: أنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَاعِدٍ، قَالَ: نا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ: نا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، قَالَ: نا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: " ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ وَجَدَ بِهِنَّ حَلَاوَةَ الْإِيمَانِ: أَنْ يَكُونَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِمَّا سِوَاهُمَا، وَأَنْ يُحِبَّ الْمَرْءَ لَا يُحِبُّهُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ، وَأَنْ يَكْرَهَ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ فِي الْكُفْرِ كَمَا يَكْرَهُ أَنْ تُوقَدَ لَهُ نَارٌ فَيُقْذَفَ فِيهَا "
