Mention of the qualities counted among faith that are reported in the narrations: the first and highest of faith is testifying that there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah; its lowest is removing harm from the road; and modesty is a branch of faith.
ذِكْرُ الْخِصَالِ الْمَعْدُودَةِ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ الْمَرْوِيَّةِ فِي الْأَخْبَارِ، فَأَوَّلُ الْإِيمَانِ وَأَعْلَاهُ شَهَادَةُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَأَدْنَاهُ إِمَاطَةُ الْأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ، وَالْحَيَاءُ شُعْبَةٌ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ
