1635 — Jaʿfar ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn Yaʿqub informed us. He said: Muhammad ibn Harun al-Ruyani informed us. He said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq narrated to us. He said: Muʿalla ibn Mansur narrated to us. He said: ʿAbd al-ʿAziz ibn Muhammad informed us, from Yazid ibn al-Had.

1636 — Al-Qasim ibn Jaʿfar also informed us. He said: Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn ʿAmr narrated to us. He said: Sulayman ibn al-Ashʿath narrated to us. He said: Qutaybah narrated to us. He said: Al-Layth narrated to us, from Ibn al-Had, from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn al-Harith, who said: from ʿAmir ibn Saʿd, from al-ʿAbbas ibn ʿAbd al-Muttalib, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: “He has tasted the sweetness of faith who is content with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion, and with Muhammad as Prophet.”

ʿAbd al-ʿAziz said in his narration: “and with Muhammad as Messenger.” Muslim transmitted it through the narration of ʿAbd al-ʿAziz, and Abu Dawud through Qutaybah.
