1619 — Aḥmad ibn ʿUbayd informed us; ʿAlī ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Mubashshir informed us; Aḥmad ibn Sinān narrated to us; Muslim ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to us; Abān narrated to us; Yaḥyā narrated to us ⦗974⦘, from Zayd ibn Salām, from Abū Salām, from Abū Mālik al-Ashʿarī, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Purification is half of faith.” Muslim transmitted it.
١٦١٩ - أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ: أنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُبَشِّرٍ، قَالَ: نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، قَالَ: نا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: نا أَبَانُ، قَالَ: نا ⦗٩٧٤⦘ يَحْيَى، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «الطُّهُورُ شَطْرُ الْإِيمَانِ» أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ
