1617 — ʿUbayd Allah ibn Aḥmad informed us; al-Ḥusayn ibn Ismāʿīl informed us; Ṣāʿiqah—namely, Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥīm—narrated to us; he said: al-Muʿallā ibn Asad narrated to us; he said: Bashshār ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to us; he said: Ghaylān ibn Jarīr narrated to us, from Anas, from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: “The believers most complete in faith are those best in character.”
