1615 — And Aḥmad ibn ʿUbayd informed us; he said: ʿAlī ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn Mubashshir informed us; he said: Aḥmad ibn Sinān narrated to us; he said: ʿAlī ibn Baḥr narrated to us; he said: Ḥātim ibn Ismāʿīl and al-Walīd ibn Muslim narrated to us; they said: Muḥammad ibn ʿAjlān narrated to us, from Qaʿqāʿ ibn Ḥakīm, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “The believers most complete in faith are those best in character.” Their wording is identical.
