1607 — ʿUbayd Allah ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī ibn Ziyād al-Naysābūrī informed us: Makkī ibn ʿAbdān informed us: ʿAbd Allah ibn Hāshim narrated to us: Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd narrated to us: Saʿīd ibn Abī ʿArūbah narrated to us: Qatādah narrated to us: Anas narrated to us from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said:
“Whoever says, ‘There is no god worthy of worship except Allah,’ and has in his heart goodness weighing as much as a barley grain will be brought out of the Fire. Then whoever says, ‘There is no god worthy of worship except Allah,’ and has in his heart goodness weighing as much as a grain of wheat will be brought out of the Fire. Then whoever says, ‘There is no god worthy of worship except Allah,’ and has in his heart that which weighs as much as an atom will be brought out of the Fire.”
Both al-Bukhārī and Muslim transmitted it through the hadith of Saʿīd.
