1571 — Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Ziyad informed us. He said: Muhammad ibn Umar al-Tajir narrated to us. He said: Sahl ibn Ammar narrated to us. He said: al-Husayn ibn al-Walid narrated to us. Sufyan al-Thawri narrated to us, from Abd al-Aziz ibn Rufi, from Wahb ibn Munabbih, who said:

“Faith is naked; its garment is taqwa (reverent fear of Allah), its capital is understanding of the religion, and its adornment is modesty.”
