128— Ibn al-Daylami said: “I heard Ibn Amr say: ‘No innovation is introduced except that it advances further, and no sunnah is abandoned except that it falls further into decline.’”
١٢٨ - وَقَالَ ابْنُ الدَّيْلَمِيِّ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَمْرٍو يَقُولُ: «مَا ابْتُدِعَتْ بِدْعَةٌ إِلَّا ازْدَادَتْ مُضِيًّا , وَلَا تُرِكَتْ سُنَّةٌ إِلَّا ازْدَادَتْ هَوِيًّا»
