1535 — Jesus ibn Ali informed us; Abdullah ibn Muhammad informed us; Ali ibn al-Ja‘d narrated to us, saying: Sharik narrated to us, from Simak, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas: Water had collected in his eye, and he was told, “We can remove the fluid from your eye, provided that you do not pray for seven days.” He replied, “Whoever abandons the prayer while able to perform it will meet Allah while He is angry with him.”
١٥٣٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، قَالَ: نا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّهُ وَقَعَ فِي عَيْنِهِ الْمَاءُ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: نَنْزِعُ الْمَاءَ مِنْ عَيْنِكَ عَلَى أَنَّكَ لَا تُصَلِّي سَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ؟ فَقَالَ: «مَنْ تَرَكَ الصَّلَاةَ وَهُوَ يَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهَا لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ»
