1523 — Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Tusi informed us. Muhammad ibn Yaqub narrated to us. Bakr ibn Sahl narrated to us. Abdullah ibn Yusuf narrated to us. Isa ibn Yunus narrated to us, from Hisham ibn Hassan, from al-Hasan, from Dabbah ibn Mihsan, from Umm Salamah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “There will be rulers over you whose conduct you will recognize as right and denounce as wrong. Whoever denounces them is absolved, and whoever disapproves of them is safe; but whoever approves and follows them...” They asked, “Should we not fight them?” ⦗904⦘ He said, “No, so long as they pray. No, so long as they pray.” Muslim transmitted it.
١٥٢٣ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الطُّوسِيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، قَالَ: ثنا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ: ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ ضَبَّةَ بْنِ مِحْصَنٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «يَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ يَعْرِفُونَ، وَيُنْكِرُونَ، فَمَنْ أَنْكَرَ فَقَدْ بَرِئَ،، وَمَنْ كَرِهَ فَقَدْ سَلِمَ، وَلَكِنْ مَنْ رَضِيَ وَتَابَعَ» قَالُوا: أَفَلَا نَقْتُلُهُمْ؟ ⦗٩٠٤⦘ قَالَ: «لَا مَا صَلَّوْا، لَا مَا صَلَّوْا» أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ
