1491 — Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Sulayman informed us; al-Husayn ibn Isma‘il informed us; Abu Hisham Muhammad ibn Yazid narrated to us; Ibn Fudayl narrated to us; Abu Malik Sa‘id ibn Tariq narrated to us, from Sa‘d ibn Ubaydah, from Ibn Umar, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: “Islam is built upon five: testifying that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, establishing the prayer, giving zakah, making pilgrimage to the House, and fasting Ramadan.” It was recorded by Muslim.
١٤٩١ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو هِشَامٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ: ثنا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو مَالِكٍ سَعِيدُ بْنُ طَارِقٍ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «بُنِيَ الْإِسْلَامُ عَلَى خَمْسٍ شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ، وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ، وَحَجِّ الْبَيْتِ، وَصَوْمِ رَمَضَانَ» أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ
